Wally was the first one to ask about where Kuki was.
CANNON
While having the crazy idea to make that clam cannon, Wally tries to convince the others to participate. When he's waking
up the others, who's room does he go into first??
When the KND are being attacked by the DCFDTL claw thingamabobber (in the beginning), Wally and Kuki are the first ones
they pick up.
Also, when they're facing DCFDTL the first time, I happened to notice a part when Wally has his arm around Kuki.
When he tries to wake Kuki up, Wally's standing over her kind of suggestively with a smile on his face.
OFFICE
When Wally heard about the plans Mr. Boss had to send all the girls to Pluto, at first he wanted to leave them. But when
he found out Kuki was one of the girls, he had a change of heart.
After being able to get all the girls out of the room just in time before it jetted off to Pluto, Kuki yelled "Numbuh Four!!"
as it flew off with Wally still inside.
Kuki runs after Mr. Boss to tell him to get Wally out of the rocket-room-thing.
After the rocket-room-thing crashes onto Mr. Boss's car, Kuki ran off to find Wally. When she does, she gives him a BIG
hug, and he has a flustered look on his face.
ARCTIC
When Kuki commented about how cool Numbuh 30C was, Wally simply replied, "Yeah, if you like panguins." Do I sense
that the jealousy bug has bitten him?
After Nigel, Hoagie, Kuki, and Abby left, 30C said "Wow, that Numbuh Three is kinda cute, huh?" Wally looked all surprised
and changed the subject. Guess he doesn't want other people to know about his actual crush on her.
LICE
When Kuki screamed from her room, Wally was the one who mentioned it. And as they were running to her room, he
was in front.
CABLE-TV
When Mr. B said that the girls would love Wally's "fire and anger", he was obviously not interested. Probably
because there's another girl he's intersted in!!
CAMP
When Abby asked where Hoagie was, Wally jumped up afterwards and said, "Yeah, and where's Numbuh Three?"
As the campers bound Hoagie and Kuki to their lanyards, Wally comes to the rescue! I think mainly for Kuki, though.
When the KND were falling out of the schoolbus rocket, Kuki fell on top of Wally.
PIANO
Call me crazy, but I think the hamster that replaced Wally as Numbuh Four was actually
trying to make him
jealous.
ZOO
Kuki was eating bugs out of Wally's hair. If eating the bugs out of someone's hair isn't love, I don't know what
is.
GROW-UP
Kuki swats Wally in the butt with a towel.
When DCFDTL were shooting fire at them, and Kuki was saying "Yay! Fourth of July!" Wally saved her from a fireball that
was coming directly towards her.
In almost every scene, Kuki and Wally are standing next to each other.
In the beginning, when Wally got hit with the machine, Kuki had a worried look on her face.
At the end credits, there was one scene where they're on the newly-constructed treehouse, eating ice cream. Wally is sitting
next to Kuki in this pic, handing her a popsicle.
Also, in the end credits, there was a scene towards the end where the KND are looking at the stars. Wally and Kuki are
laying on the roof against each other. So cute!!
CATS
When Wally rips Mr. Huggykins the first two times, he immediately tries to fix it with duct tape, assuring Kuki
that it was "good as new."
Instead of going on a killing rampage, Kuki merely makes Wally dress up like the doll.
Kuki constantly tries to get Wally to say "I love you." This can be simply explained by the fact that, well, the original
doll said it. However, there could be some other reasons...
When the crazy old cat lady absorbs Wally into the big kitty made of little kitties, the last thing he said was, "And tell
Numbuh Three I'm sorry!!!!!!" How sweet! ^^
Just after that first bit of proof, Kuki comes to Wally's rescue!!
When Wally thanks Kuki "for saving him and all," Kuki gives him a big bear hug (cute!) and he looks all flustered.
Finally, Wally says "I love you" to Kuki. He could've just been acting like the doll, but could it also be a sort-of indirect
confession?
DATE
The biggest bit of proof EVER: When Nigel says that they should "couple up to not draw attention" (I think that's
what he said, but I don't remember...), Wally and Kuki immediately hold hands. And look at their expressions!!!
And, of course, that cute little dance scene. And note that Wally puts his arm around her at the end!!!
SUPPORT
Abby, Nigel, and Hoagie are all in it at Abbys house. This mightve been just me, but i couldnt help but wonder what Kuki
and Wally were doing in the treehouse all alone for hours on end.
MOVIE
When they're in the Rainbow Monkey movie, Wally and Kuki are in a row below Nigel, Hoagie, and Abby. Maybe to
get some time alone...?
FAST-FOOD
Although in the beginning of this episode, Wally seems to not have much confidence that Kuki can lead a mission,
I have another view of this: He could be concerned about her safety.
When Kuki was in Burger Frenzy for too long, Wally regrets letting her go in alone.
And when the KND assumed Kuki got eaten by sharks, Wally exclaimed, "NUMBUH THREEEEEEEEE!!!!" So sweet!
When the KND are running to the restaraunt near the end, you see Wally has the most deadly weapon to hit Chester with.
Also if you listen closely you can hear him scream, "YOU'RE GOING DOWN!!!" He really must care about her! ^_^
GHOST
While Wally was having his hamster issues, he was the first to notice Kuki being taken to Chubbo's grave. He called
after her, and pulled an alarm.
After coming out of the grave, Kuki was about to get sucked back in. And who stays to save her? Wally!!!
At the beginning of the ep, Wally hated the "soda-stealing rodents," but developed a liking for them after saving Kuki.
BRIEF
When coming out of the school bus, an exhausted Kuki held an exhausted Wally on her shoulders.
BEACH
At the beginning when Kuki is building a sandcastle, she asks Wally if he could be her prince charming.
When Kuki was first taken by those knights, Wally was immediately concerned for her. And when he told Hoagie and Abby about
it, they burst out singing "Wally and Kuki sittin' in a tree! KISSING!!!"
Wally gets very defensive after the aforementioned bit of proof, blushes (so cute!! ^^), and says "she...uhh...owes me
a quarter."
When Kuki yells to Wally that she's getting married, he immediately goes into some kind of state of shock.
At the wedding, Wally asks Kuki if she's really going to marry that guy.
Wally and Sandy go into a fight when Kuki is dangling from the ceiling (I'm assuming her dress is very starchy, since it
stayed perfectly in place when she was upside-down). Then Wally saves Kuki, and they run off and forget Hoagie and Abby.
UNDERCOVER
When they were tied to the big iceberg thingy, Wally says to Kuki that there was something that he'd always wanted
to say to her. Being, well, Kuki, she's unaware of the fact he could (and probably was) going to confess his true feelings.
But just as he had the cute puppy-dog eyes, they get saved. Darn it...
END
In almost every scene they're in, Wally and Kuki are somewhere next to each other.
When Fanny (that's Numbuh 86's name, right??) was talking about the decomissioning procedure, there's a part where Kuki
and Wally look at each other with sad faces. Could it mean they don't want to forget each other?
When Fanny and her team begin shooting the lasers, and Nigel shoots at the brick bridge thingies, Wally almost falls. And
who comes to the rescue?? Kuki!!
Shortly after this, Nigel yells for everyone to brace themselves. Hoagie holds Tommy, Abby and Nigel grab onto the sides
for dear life. And Kuki and Wally hold onto each other (making that cavity-causingly sweet hug scene on my little icon thing
at the KND forum).
And I loved this part: when they were "fishing" for Chad's rocket, Wally was the one used for I guess "bait." And Kuki
began flirting with him! He began getting all flustered and said stuff like, "Oh, I'm just doing my job and all..."
When Tommy was going on about how he wanted to be in a treehouse with his own room and stuff, look at who's sitting next
to each other!! ^^
Before Kuki saved Wally, when Fanny said “set your weapons to ouch”, well when they started shooting Wally
pushed Kuki out of the way so she didn’t get hit! What a hero =P
FUTURE
At the beginning of the ep., Kuki seems to have the most sympathy for Wally when he tells the KND he's going to boarding
school. She also was the last person to say anything to him before he left: "Bye, Numbuh Four! Send me a funny postcard! *giggles*"
Kuki is always there to answer Wally's calls to the treehouse (even if he doesn't remain on the line long enough to say
anything). She is the one who talks to Wally most in this episode. She's also uber-excited to see Wally when he calls.
This is kind of borderline proof, but when Wally hops out the window of the boarding house, he yells "Sayonara!", the Japanese
word for "Seeya!" ...Wonder why he used that particular dialect? Hmm...
When Sally brings up Kuki, old Wally kind of gets a sad look on his face as he sits there, remembering her. This is almost
too sweet!
When old Wally travels to the past to get help, Kuki becomes extremely concerned whenever he tells them that Wally is in
trouble! It was also totally sweet when she glanced back at old Wally as she was defending him in front of her teammates and
said, "Sometimes a girl just knows..." SHE TOTALLY RECOGNIZED HIM! Ya know, in a very subtle way. Of course. And the look
he gave her in return was just precious.
In the end, when old Wally is giving 10-year-old Wally advice, and he said, "And most important of all: I always regretted
not asking out....", there are several things to note here. This is another one of the biggest pieces of proof in this whole
episode!
1. The look on Wally's face when old Wally says this makes it look like he knows what the old guy is going to
say, and caught his meaning, even though old Wally didn't get to finish his sentence.
2. Of course WE know old Wally was
going to say he regretted not asking out Kuki, because we know (thanks to official sources and by the power of proof throughout
awesome episodes like BEACH, for example) that Wally's one-and-only crush is, and always has been, Kuki!
3. It's also important
to take note that old Wally called this the MOST IMPORTANT thing of all! He doesn't wanna make the same mistake twice! I,
for one, don't think he will...
AFLOAT
After Kuki got eaten by the Great White Asparagus, and her Rainbow Monkey (or in Wally's case, the "cheeseburger")
was on a plank of wood in the sea, Wally went out to get it, telling Abby that "Numbuh Three would want me to have it."
LEADER
When Lizzie told Wally to shut up about their tacky costumes, Kuki immediately snapped "Don't you tell Numbuh
Four to shut up!"
UTOPIA
-When Nigel finds his friends in the pool, Wally and Kuki are splashing each other and playing with each other in the water
(note that neither of them have very much or any interaction with Hoagie or Abby! Their attention is totally on each other).
-Yes, the above bit of proof was a bit of "Chester-created" (or perhaps even "imaginatory images from Nigel's own psyche"?)
proof, but if it was Chester-created... I think it's kind of funny that even one of the KND's nemeses knows that Wally and
Kuki like each other!
-At the end, in the reality portion of the episode where the team is observing Chester in the tank, once again we have
a scenario where Wally and Kuki are standing closest to each other.
-When they are leaving (just before Wally decides to switch the dial on the machine), Wally and Kuki are walking together
out of the lab; the others were kind of "single-filing" out
ROBBERS
It wasn't so much that there was proof between Wally and Kuki as there was lack of proof between Wally and Abby.
Some folks will try and pair 4 and 5 together, thinking they've found proof in other ep.'s. However, if nothing else, this
episode proves that Wally and Abby are just friends. They were far more friendly to each other in this than they were flirty.
And it's not like they didn't have the opportunity to flirt with each other; they were the only two KND operatives in this
mission! Prime example.
When the really big robber-kid is trying to talk Abby into giving him a kiss instead of her homework, what we don't see
is Wally going out of his way to try and stop this kid or defend Abby. If it had been Kuki, I have a feeling the scenario
would have gone totally different. After all, in BEACH we saw Wally try to take down 3 way-bigger kids plus twerpy little
King Sandy when Kuki was in trouble. Here, he kind of just leaves Abby to it and instead is more pre-occupied with getting
his homework back.
As for the whole "thinking the teacher is cute" thing... honestly. What kid hasn't had an innocent crush on a teacher of
the opposite gender at some time in their school career? Besides, we all know that Numbuh Three is a far more realistic crush.
FOUNTAIN
I didn't see very much proof in FOUNTAIN. But in the second part, Wally elbowed Kuki and asked what she thought
of drinking from the fountain.
BUTT
Wally and Kuki compete against each other on some video game around the middle of the episode. I have this strange
theory that Wally likes Kuki because she was the first girl to ever kick his butt (at not only whatever game they were playing,
but maybe something from pre-KND...)
After Nigel resigns from KND, Wally is the one who broke the news to Kuki that he left. And later he has out some of Kuki's
stuffed animals and does their voices and stuff in an attempt to cheer her up. And through that entire scene, he's got this
sweet look of concern on his face.
When Kuki and Wally were laughing at Nigel's butt, I noticed that Wally had his arm around her for a second, and when they
laughed they were always next to each other.
SLUMBER
-Wally seems even more determined to go on the "super secret mission" when he sees Kuki is going to go.
-Ah, the truth or dare scene; what 3/4 fans have been looking forward to since they first saw the "CN Fridays" preview
for this week! There was some good stuff here...
1. The fact that 12 and 23 asked if she liked Numbuh 4 specifically; it's not like there aren't eleventy-billion other
boy operatives to choose from! I think they saw that Kuki and Wally like each other, and in true girl fashion, were trying
to get Kuki to admit it.
2. When 12 asked Kuki if she liked Wally, she ended up turning red... she was embarassed!
3.
She stuttered a lot when she was trying to form an answer; she barely knows these 2 other girls (3, if you count Wally dressed
up as a girl...). Whenever I have a secret crush, I'm definitely not gonna tell just anybody!
4. Here is why I say she
most definitely likes Wally as more than just a friend: if she didn't she wouldn't have hesitated in answering! This is Numbuh
3 we're talking about. She's rarely hesitant to say exactly what she's thinking. If she didn't like him like that, her answer
would have been a straight-up "no." (The only thing that would change this theory is if she actually knew that Wally was there;
naturally, she wouldn't wanna hurt his feelings. But since she doesn't know it's him, she could have spoken more candidly
if she didn't feel that way about him!)
-Wally looks like the fate of his world totally hangs on Kuki's answer to her truth question; and apparently he was a little
scared about what her answer might be, as he was the first to change the subject when 86 screamed from the kitchen. Not like
he has anything to worry about!
-Kuki looks the most shocked when she sees that Numbuh 4-30-teen-7 is actually none other than Wally! Naturally, she has
reason to be shocked, since she almost got to say how she feels about him during truth or dare...
KASTLE
-When 1,2,4,and 5 come to "rescue" Kuki and Mushi (at the beginning of the episode), Wally is the first to jump onto the
boat, and he lands right next to Kuki. He was also lets forth a battle cry ("Hai-ya!") to announce his arrival to save the
day (notice that the other 3 don't do anything but go "oof" as they land).
-When Wally jumps onto the boat, Kuki looks absolutely thrilled to see him there.
-On the ride, the rainbow monkey Juliet was orange, and the Romeo rainbow monkey was wearing green... yeah, I know that's
REEEEEEALLY stretching it, but if you look at it with really really squinted eyes in a certain frame of mind, it's almost
like proof, or foreshadowing, or something... but I could be wrong.
-Kuki does NOT want to marry Sandy; I think we all know who she'd rather have as her "Prince Charming"..
-A lot of Kuki's words, actions, and reactions in this episode remind me of things that Wally would say and do. I really
think these two are two of a kind...
-Note that when Mushi goes for help, we see her latched onto Wally instead of any of the others... perhaps she knows that
if anyone will help her sister, it would be him?
-Wally looks the most distressed out of all the kids when it dawns on them that Mushi said Kuki was getting married to
King Sandy; he's also the first one to stop in his tracks when he realizes what Mushi had just said.
-(Here's some non-proof between Kuki and the other 2 boys) Hoagie's remark about King Sandy having weird taste in girls
is proof that Hoagie just doesn't think of Kuki in that way. Nigel did not listen to Kuki when she sent up her second distress
call; if it had been Wally who had answered the phone, then the reaction would have probably been different. Kuki also told
him off at the beginning of the episode, and indicated that she didn't care if he came along, anyway.
-In the end credits, you hear Hoagie get whacked TWICE with the S.P.L.A.N.K.E.R.: once by Kuki, for his remark about Sandy
having weird taste in girls (after all, Sandy had wanted to marry her first!), and the second time, we find out Wally was
the one who smacked him. Given, Wally was whacking that costumed teenager around a lot earlier, but that person was annoying
him. Hoagie had said nothing to annoy him; this was clearly Wally non-verbally getting back at Hoagie for insulting Kuki...
no one insults her while he's around!
CAKED-THREE
-At the beginning of the episode when Nigel was briefing the team, you'll notice that Wally and Kuki were sitting next
to each other, kind of close. -Wally is usually standing pretty close to Kuki
-Whenever Kuki is exclaiming over the baby chicks initially, Wally comes up and stands right next to her and makes his
little comment about "chicken fingers" or "chicken nuggets", and then she gives him the LOOK, and he immediately exclaims,
"What? What'd I say?" Okay, so maybe this isn't proof per say, but it was still a cute little moment of interaction between
the two of them; I swear, sometimes they act a little like an "old married couple."
-When the kids are battling the big birthday present robot, Wally and Kuki get tossed into "gift cages" right next to each
other. Also in this scene, when Kuki gets tossed into her cage, Wally looks over and has this extremely concerned look on
his face... it was so sweet!
LOCKDOWN
-Abby sends Wally to go and wake up Kuki when she sleeps through the emergency alert; note he doesn't object!
-When Wally finds Kuki hopping around her room in pain, he tries to calm her down and comfort her.
-At the end of the episode, Wally and Kuki are sitting right next to each other, and they finish each other's sentence.
GRADUATES
-After the graduation, when Tommy comes to talk to Sector V, Kuki and Wally are standing pretty close to each other (this
is before they move the shot to where you can't see her anymore).
-Wally's "birthday suit" is green... wonder why he chose that particular color?
-When Numbuhs 1 through 5 get locked in Father's study, Wally is positions himself in front of Kuki in a defensive stance.
-When Wally gets turned into a koala, Kuki is the first to exclaim, "*GASP!* That's horrible! Adorable... but horrible!"
It looks like she thought Wally was pretty darn cute as a little koala; even though what was happening was pretty heinous.
(I'm a little puzzled that they didn't choose to turn him into an actual wallaby; I guess Warburton and Willems thought people
would actually be expecting that. It sure caught me by surprise!)
-Kuki started rhyming her words, much like Wally does whenever there's a high-stress situation.
-Even as animals, you still see Wally and Kuki together.
-When Father throws koala Wally just after he's attacked by them, crane Kuki immediately attacks him, and is backed up
shortly thereafter by Abby. (Kuki does actually jump on him first)
HUGS
Kuki dragged Waly to the Rainbow Monkey Fair against his will. And after he complains about how he wanted to leave, she
graciously lets him.
That is, after he gives her a Rainbow Monkey goodbye hug! ^^
It looked like Wally liked teasing Kuki, like most guys do at that age when they like a girl.
JEWELS
-At Nigel's birthday party, Kuki and Wally looked like they were sitting (standing?) fairly close to each other at the
table.
TRICKY
-Wally talked about how Halloween was for "stupid babies who like dressing up like girly butterflies, and begging
adults for candy!" Sure enough, Kuki was right behind him dressed in a butterfly outfit. He immediately said that it's not
stupid, "unless you're into that stuff."
UNCOOL
-In the beginning of the episode, Kuki is watching Wally and Hoagie play the Yipper card game. Whenever Wally plays a card,
Kuki reacts to his move like she's really impressed by his card-playing skills.
PRESIDENT
-When the KND first run in with the 4th grade president, Kuki and Wally are standing near each other.
-In the scrap yard, Kuki and Wally are working together to operate the big cruncher machine. (And might I add that, once
again, the two of them make a great team!)
HOSPITAL
-When Kuki says "I don't like him, I LOVE HIM!" when she's referring to Bradley, and leaves in
the elevator alone, Wally is left in the hallway with the saddest look on his face!
-Wally became upset about this, and muttered to himself things like "She LOVES him?! What's he got that I ain't got?!"
-Before finding out that this mystery man was really Bradley (who Kuki loves as a son), Wally told Kuki that even
though she loved someone else, he had/needed to tell her something. Of course, Bradley screwed up the moment with his stinky-ness
and he said "aww...YOU STINK!" Kuki looked so hurt when he said that, too.
-After all that was done and over, Kuki had a cutesy look on her face and asked Wally what he really wanted to tell her.
He seemed a bit embarassed, and said he wanted to tell her that her shoe was untied.
-When Kuki is storming through the hospital, she once again resembles how Wally usually acts in his "tough guy" mode...
-Wally is very concerned about why Kuki is acting this way about this particular agent.
-Kuki got a really doe-eyed look on her face whenever Wally said he had to tell her something, even though she said she
loved the "mystery" operative (Bradley); I think she knew or had a good idea about what he wanted to say, but she was really
excited/couldn't wait to hear him actually say it. And then when she looked hurt when he said she stunk, she immediately started
squabbling with him and said something like, "THAT wasn't what you wanted to tell me!!!!"
-She really wanted to know what he wanted to tell her. She caught on that the whole "your shoelace is untied" thing was
not it, and so they continued to argue with each other over what he was actually going to tell her, at least until they made
it off screen.
SPROUT
-Nigel has Kuki watch over Wally when they go into his body.
-Pretty much during the entire scene where Wally is green, Kuki has these looks of concern on her face!
-When Wally first turned green, Kuki said something along the lines of "Numbuh Four! Hang in there! You're my--" I wonder
what she was going to say? "Friend?" "Crush?" "Teammate?" "Love of my life?"
FOODFITE
-In the beginning, when they first come in the cafeteria and the evil food creature...things...start popping up all around
them, Kuki reaches over and holds Wally's side for a brief moment or two.
-When Grandma Stuffum's "slamwich" grabbed Kuki, Wally tried to grab and save her. Not much, but it was adorable!
NUGGET
-During that super-cute musical number with Lizzie, Mushi, and Kuki, Wally had sort of a ga-ga face while watching it.
And I bet we can all guess who he was probably gawking at the most!
-In prison, when Wally wanted a chicken nugget, Kuki offered the one she had to him. He thanked her, and called her "Kuki!"
^_^
POOL
-When Nega-Kuki, Nega-Hoagie, and Nega-Abby were introduced, Wally immediately said hello to who he thought was
Kuki. And he calls her Kuki again! =3
-Towards the end of the episode, Kuki calls Wally by his real first name (I just
think that is so cute!) and acknowledges how he can swim now. And right before they go back to their world, she hugs him!
